Guanacaste Snorkeling Tours is the perfect adventure for exploring the Papagayo Gulf’s marine life and discovering secluded beaches accessible only by boat. You will relax on white sands and brown beaches, with turquoise, warm waters to swim in. Enjoy visiting as many beaches as possible, exploring a cave, and discovering the vibrant marine life of our Pacific Ocean.

Guanacaste Snorkeling Tours will take you to some of the premier spots and secluded beaches of the Papagayo Gulf. The tour starts at 8:00 am for the morning tour or 1:30 pm for the sunset tour, with a 15-minute navigation to the first snorkeling spot. Additionally, we can often find playful dolphins swimming alongside or behind the boat, as well as turtles. During their season, it is possible to observe humpback whales and their calf.

The calm and clear waters of the Pacific Ocean are also excellent for diving and snorkeling. The ocean here is abundant in nutrients, which make it rich in marine life; some of the fish you may see are angelfish, Moorish idol, puffers, surgeon-fish, snapper, parrotfish, damsels, and a variety of eels. Turtles, stingrays, manta rays, and the non-aggressive reef shark may also be spotted. Your snorkeling experience will determine which site we visit first.

All of our Guanacaste Snorkeling Tours make a stop at Playa Huevos, where you can explore a nice cave that is possible to visit during the low tide. The beach is very calm, and it is possible to snorkel there. Another stop is Playa Jicaros, located on the peninsula; at low tide, it becomes a natural, clear pool. Depending on the tide, we can also visit Playa Palmares or Nacascolito.

We can pick you up at most hotels and beaches near Playas del Coco, but depending on the tide, ground transportation may be necessary. If we don’t have a double tour, we can schedule your adventure for the best time, coinciding with low tide.
