Our Guanacaste Coffee Tour takes you to discover the process of the coffee beans, where you will be able to taste different kinds of coffee. You will also observe all the grounding, drying, and washing steps before it is ready for the table. You will hike through the plantation and will be able to pick your own beans. Later we will visit the colonial cities of Santa Cruz & Nicoya, where you will visit the church founded in 1644. These are some of the most representative, colonial, and folkloric cities in Costa Rica.
Guanacaste Coffee Tour continues showing you the fantastic process of harvesting coffee plants and beans, from the ground to your mouth. Discover the different steps as the dry process, the roasting and grounding, the water treatment, and natural compost. Of course, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with some traditional snacks. All this while you enjoy some traditional dance performed by local students.
Our next stop is the Colonial city of Costa Rica, Nicoya, where you visit the colonial Temple of San Blas, constructed in 1644. Nicoya is also the city that, in 1824, decided by its own self-annex to Costa Rica after the independence of the Central American countries.
We will take you later to Santa Cruz, the national folkloric city and the land of the Chorotegas Aborigines. You will visit the fantastic church and the central park. This city is also well renowned because of the big typical festivities and rodeos.
