Our Arenal Volcano Nature Expedition takes you to discover two of Costa Rica’s most popular attractions: the Arenal Volcano National Park and the Hanging Bridges experience. You will end your day relaxing at the hot spring park of your choice.

Arenal Volcano Nature Expedition starts with our guide picking you up from your resort or vacation home. From there, you will head towards the Arenal Volcano, an active volcano in the northern part of Costa Rica. The drive will take you through picturesque towns and wind fields.

You will start driving around Arenal Lake, which offers fantastic landscapes. As you get closer to the volcano, you will see its towering presence and surrounding green rainforest. Our guide will provide you with background information on the volcano’s history, its eruptions, and the flora and fauna that thrive in the park.

On your arrival at the national park, you will embark on a hike to witness some of the park’s highlights, including the famous lava flow from the 1968 eruption and stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the lake. Along the way, our guide will also point out distinct species of plants and animals that are unique to this area.

Later, the Arenal Volcano Nature Expedition will head towards the Hanging Bridges, which are a series of suspended bridges that allow visitors to walk through the treetops and experience the rainforest from a unique perspective. You can see wildlife, such as monkeys, toucans, and sloths, up close as you cross the bridges. Amazing landscapes and views of the volcano can be found along the hike.

The Arenal Hanging Bridges are typically visited in the morning, when the temperature is slightly cooler and the wildlife is more active. Finally, we will drive you to the Hot Springs Park, where you can relax at several pools and enjoy a delicious lunch.
