Guanacaste TransportationTransportation from the Liberia International Airport :

Our recommendation is to have your transport booked from the Liberia International Airport before you arrive in the country. You can book your transfer with us at the following email info@papagayotours.com Now, if you come with nothing booked at the exit gates, you will find many types of transport offering their services, primarily in minivans, which all operate with their respective permits.

You will also find a Taxi service (Red or Orange Cabs); they are the only legal persons that can work inside the airport. However, this option may not be correct since they could raise the rate and charge you exaggerated prices.

Buses from the airport are simply not an option. Regular buses start from 5.00 am until 9.00 pm each hour, but you would have to take the bus that takes you to the city of Liberia and from there return to take another or more buses depending on your destination.

Most Rent Car agency is very close to the airport. If you booked a rental car, you would likely find your representative in the luggage room or at the airport exit. They will take you to their offices, where you can finish the paperwork. If you need help reserving a car for your vacation, write to us, and we will gladly help you.
